What's New
The 2020 Kia K900 receives some minor tweaks, including a new Highway Driving Assist safety feature. This adjusts the adaptive cruise control to set the speed based on posted speed limits on the interstate. There’s also improved image quality courtesy of the revised surround-view camera system.
Choosing Your Kia K900
There isn’t much to choose with the K900, which comes in a single trim: Luxury. It’s priced at $60,935 including destination.
Engine Choices
Every Kia K900 is powered by a 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6, producing 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. This is fed to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The setup returns an EPA-estimated 18 miles per gallon city, 25 mpg highway, and 21 combined.
Passenger and Cargo Capacity
The K900 can seat five passengers and has a trunk size of 15 cubic feet.
Safety Features
An impressive roster of standard safety features includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, a surround-view camera system, a driver attention warning system, Highway Driving Assist, and front and rear parking sensors.
Connectivity
As you’d expect on a luxury sedan, the K900’s connectivity is superb, typified by an app which lets owners remotely unlock, start, and warm or cool their vehicle. The dashboard is centered on a 12.3-inch widescreen touchscreen, which includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth. A head-up display, a wireless phone charger, and multiple USB ports are also included.
Luxury seems a fitting name for a sedan that features everything from interior mood lighting to a Maurice Lacroix analog clock in the dash. Three-zone climate control complements heated and ventilated front seats, while the rear seats and steering wheel also contain heating.
The 20-way power-adjustable driver’s seat includes air-cell lumbar and side bolster adjustments with a cushioned thigh extension; like every other seat in the house, it’s clad in Nappa leather.
Everything is powered, from the trunk to the sunroof, with sound-absorbing glass letting the 17-speaker Lexicon sound system take center stage. Keyless entry and push-button start also come as standard, alongside rear climate and infotainment controls.
The $4,400 VIP Package is designed for people who prefer to ride in the back of their cars, bringing 12-way and 14-way power rear seats with four-way power lumbar support. Ventilated back seats, a premium headliner, additional rear ventilation, and a rear wireless phone charger are included.
