Kia Sorento Generations
The Sorento is available in rear-wheel drive Base, LX and EX trims, or as a four-wheel drive LX or EX trim. The Base and LX trims come standard with a 242 hp 3.3-liter V6 engine while the EX models are powered by a 262 hp 3.8-liter V6 engine. A five-speed automatic transmission with sequential shifting mode is the only transmission offered. Safety features that come standard include side curtain and knee airbags, four-wheel disc antilock brakes, active front head restraints and an electronic stability system.

2003 - 2008 Kia Sorento
Major changes included: The Sorento comes in a choice of 3.3 liter 6-cylinder or 3.8 liter 6-cylinder engine options. Available in LX and EX trim levels, comforts such as A/C, power features, and steering-wheel audio controls come standard. A Sport Package is available with the LX, while the EX has an option of a Luxury Package. | |
