Launched in 2004, the Lamborghini Gallardo is the younger, less powerful sibling to the Italian carmaker's flagship models, the now-retired Murcielago and current headmaster V12 Aventador. The junior V10 supercar, named after a fighting bull, is nonetheless a powerful machine with an "entry-level" model that offers 550 horsepower and a 3.5-second run to 60 mph.
Currently in its second generation and final production year, the Gallardo has proven Lamborghini's most popular model, with more than 10,000 units sold in its first seven years. For 2013, new front and rear styling was introduced only on the 560-4 coupe and Spyder roadster; the LP570-4 Edizione Tecnica replaced the Trofeo Stradale.
