Lotus Cars
Lotus is a British manufacturer of sports and racing cars based at Hethel, England. However in 1996, the company was bought by Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Bhd (Proton), a Malaysian car company. Lotus is famous for designing and building race and production automobiles of extremely lightweight and possessing legendary handling characteristics. Changes in the Lotus Cars Line-Up
For 2007, Lotus is releasing yet another model of their popular sports car called the Exige S coupe. With 220 horsepower and 165 lb-ft of torque—80 percent of which is available at 2000 rpm—the 2100-pound Exige S is said to be capable of attaining 60 miles per hour just 4.1 seconds. It will be sold in the U.S. for $57,860.
