Mazda CX-7 Generations
For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."
An all-new, naturally aspirated, 161 horsepower, 2.5 litre four-cylinder and 5 speed automatic transmission have been added. The familiar 244 horsepower, 2.3 litre four-cylinder, direct injection, turbo-charged engine and 6 speed automatic transmission continue as the top powertrain choice. The CX-7 is a sporty-looking and sporty-handling CUV that will haul nearly as much stuff as it does people. Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is optional. It comes standard with four-wheel, anti-lock disc brakes with electronic brake-force distribution and electronic stability control with traction control.

2007 - 2010 Mazda CX-7
Major changes included: The CX-7 is powered by a 2.3 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. A 6-speed automatic transmission is standard on Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring trim levels. Options include remote engine start, 6-disk CD changer, and DVD entertainment system. | |
