Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder Overview

The Eclipse Spyder is a two-door, four-seat convertible based on the Eclipse coupe. It's offered in three trim levels: GS-Sport, SE, and GT. Power is delivered by a 162-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a four-speed automatic transmission with Sportronic shift control. The GT has a 265-hp 3.8-liter V6 mated to a five-speed automatic with Sportronic shift control. The Eclipse Spyder comes standard with front airbags and front side-impact airbags with head extensions, vehicle stability control with traction control, anti-lock brakes, and a tire pressure monitoring system.

For 2012, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder receives a new SE trim. It features dark argent 18" wheels, black exterior door mirrors, and dark lower side "SE" graphic. Also new to all trims is the addition of brake override logic and one new exterior color.
