Overview

Research by Year

The Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet occupies a market of one, a midsize SUV that is also a soft-top convertible. Standard all-wheel drive offers drivers confidence during inclement weather with the top up, while the styling is a fresh take on the already unique Murano's angular look. Indeed, even with the room needed to store the top, the interior offers enough space for four adults and easy-to-use infotainment and climate control settings. For 2014, buyers have more exterior options in terms of colors in spite of a reduction in the suggested retail price.

Major changes included:

In 2011, Nissan chopped the top from its Murano crossover SUV and added a retractable top, bringing about the first-generation Murano CrossCabriolet. This new variant of the Murano came only in a two-door setup and featured a coupe-like trunk lid to further distinguish itself from the base Murano. Under its hood, the first-gen Murano CrossCabriolet came standard with a 3.5-liter V6 with 265 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque that linked up to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and an all-wheel drive system.
