In 2011, Nissan chopped the top from its Murano crossover SUV and added a retractable top, bringing about the first-generation Murano CrossCabriolet. This new variant of the Murano came only in a two-door setup and featured a coupe-like trunk lid to further distinguish itself from the base Murano. Under its hood, the first-gen Murano CrossCabriolet came standard with a 3.5-liter V6 with 265 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque that linked up to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and an all-wheel drive system.
