Pontiac Vibe MPG
Introduced for 2009, the final year of the brand, the redesigned Pontiac Vibe comes out with much cleaner lines, and Pontiac Vibe MPG falls within the 20 mpg range. For engine options, the Vibe sports two Toyota-sourced engines; an economical 1.8liter 4 cylinder with 132 hp, and a larger 2.4-liter 4 cylinder with 158 hp that is also used in the Camry. These can be mated to two automatic transmissions, a four speed and a five speed, or a five speed manual. The 1.8 liter engine sports an EPA estimated 28 MPG combined, when using the four speed manual or the five speed manual. When equipped with the 2.4 liter engine, you can add the option of a five speed automatic, which will give you combined MPG of 24—the same goes if you choose the five speed manual. If equipped with the four speed automatic, fuel economy takes a small hit and ends up at 22 MPG combined.
