The RAM ProMaster 1500 hit U.S. showrooms in 2014 and quickly became a top competitor in the cargo van market alongside the Nissan NV and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. It is known for its spacious interior, impressively low step-in height, and high towing and payload capacity.
The van is the result of a collaboration between RAM and Fiat, resulting in a design based off the Fiat Ducato, a rugged and much-loved work van in Europe. The 1500's tall design provides more space for workers and their supplies, and its small front end makes maneuvering in traffic and tight spaces simple. It has a durable build to handle tough jobs, hauling payloads of up to 4,417 pounds and towing up to 5,100 pounds. The ProMaster 1500 also also has an available 3-liter diesel engine that provides up to 300 pound-feet of torque.
