The Sorento is Kia's entrant in the SUV market. It is a mid-size SUV with rugged body on frame construction.
The Sorento is available in rear-wheel drive Base, LX and EX trims, or as a four-wheel drive LX or EX trim. The Base and LX trims come standard with a 242-hp 3.3-liter V6 engine while the EX models are powered by a 262-hp 3.8-liter V6 engine. A five-speed automatic transmission with manual sequential shifting mode is the only transmission offered.
