Subaru Outback Generations

The Outback is available with a 170-hp naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder with a six-speed manual transmission (or optional six-speed CVT), or a 3.6-liter six-cylinder with a five-speed automatic transmission. The CVT and automatic transmissions feature a manual mode with paddle levers on the steering wheel. Limited models feature leather seating, a 440-watt nine-speaker harman/kardon audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control and Bluetooth hands-free phone capability.

2005 - 2012 Subaru Outback

Also, new safety technology has been added including standard front side impact air bags and side curtain air bags. The engine in the new Outback is now lower, which decreases the center of gravity allowing for a more comfortable ride and smooth, easy handling.
