When hipsters have kids and move to the suburbs, Subaru hopes they will also move up to a Tribeca. The largest and costliest model in the lineup, the Tribeca offers the family-friendly space of a midsize crossover along with the alternative appeal of being a Suburu. You won't find one in every car pool queue, which is the major reason to buy one.
The Tribeca has been on the market since 2006 and has received mild updates since then. Suburu's competent all-wheel drive system is standard, as is a third-row seat. For 2013, there's only one model available, the loaded Limited, which will probably make the Tribeca even more scarce than in previous years.
