Toyota Camry Hybrid Generations
For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."
The Camry Hybrid is a front-wheel drive four-door sedan that seats five passengers. Available in one well appointed trim it comes standard with Hybrid Synergy Drive, a combination electric motor/gasoline engine fitted with an efficient, continuously variable transmission. The standard warranty for hybrid-related components is 8 years/100,000 miles. A moonroof, navigation system, leather seats and heated front seats are optional. Standard safety features include stability and traction control, six-airbags, and a tire pressure monitor.
The following model years make up the most recent Toyota Camry Hybrid generations:
2007 - 2010 Toyota Camry Hybrid
Major changes included: Now in its seventh generation, the Camry is still offered in its four traditional base, LE, SE, and XLE trim levels. A 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine is standard, with a 3.5 liter available in all but the base model. New in this generation is a gasoline-electric Hybrid model that utilizes the 2.4 liter engine in conjuction with an electric motor. | |
