Toyota Venza FWD
The 2009 Toyota Venza FWD comes as an alternative to a similar AWD package. The front wheel drive option comes at a slightly lower MSRP (manufacturer suggested retail price).
Both the FWD and AWD Venza options can be outfitted with two different engine sizes: a 2.7L DOHC 4-cylinder, or a 3.5L DOHC V6. Choosing the FWD package adds an additional mile per gallon on the road to each engine type, according to Toyota's site. The 2.7L FWD option gets an estimated 21 miles per gallon in city and 29 mpg on the highway. With the V6, the MPG becomes 19/26.
All 2009 Venza models come with Toyota's Star Safety System(TM), where Traction Control, ABS (Anti-Lock Brakes), EBD (Electronic Brake-Force Distribution), and a lot of other safety features, including a tire pressure monitoring system, keep drivers and passengers safe. An anti-theft system with engine immobilizing capability brings modern technology to security.
In the interior of the Venza, dual zone CFC-free air conditioning is standard. Audio is an AM/FM 6-disc in-dash CD changer with satellite radio capability, MP3/WMA playback capability and six speakers. Buyers can choose upgrades to customize the interior entertainment system with sound and even a DVD display unit, as well as optional Bluetooth ability and a touch screen DVD navigation. A backing camera and advanced remote options come as part of an upgrade package, where basic remote keyless entry is standard. Buyers can also choose upgrade packages to leather-trimmed seats and steering wheel mounted controls. Toyota offers the most popular feature packages at dealerships across the country. Buyers are encouraged to ask dealerships about the most common feature sets for the Venza. Take a look at one of these modern cars at a local lot for a relatively new Toyota product.
