Toyota Venza FWD

The 2009 Toyota Venza FWD comes as an alternative to a similar AWD package. The front wheel drive option comes at a slightly lower MSRP (manufacturer suggested retail price).

Both the FWD and AWD Venza options can be outfitted with two different engine sizes: a 2.7L DOHC 4-cylinder, or a 3.5L DOHC V6. Choosing the FWD package adds an additional mile per gallon on the road to each engine type, according to Toyota's site. The 2.7L FWD option gets an estimated 21 miles per gallon in city and 29 mpg on the highway. With the V6, the MPG becomes 19/26.

All 2009 Venza models come with Toyota's Star Safety System(TM), where Traction Control, ABS (Anti-Lock Brakes), EBD (Electronic Brake-Force Distribution), and a lot of other safety features, including a tire pressure monitoring system, keep drivers and passengers safe.
