To get certified used car quotes you will need to know where to find them. So, here is a guide to help you get used car quotes on certified used cars.

Step 1 - Visit the Manufacturer's Website

If you have a particular vehicle manufacturer in mind, you should visit its website and look for authorized dealers of that manufacturer’s vehicles. Generally speaking, only authorized dealerships can sell certified used cars for a specific manufacturer. Most car manufacturer websites will provide contact information for dealerships that sell their cars. So, look for dealership websites or jot down the address of authorized dealerships in your area.

Step 2 - Browse Authorized Dealership Inventories

Once you have the website address or physical address of several manufacturer authorized dealerships, visit the websites of the dealership and browse their current used car inventory. Alternatively, you can visit local authorized dealerships in your area and look at makes and models of used cars that you are interested in. Most certified used cars will be prominently marked as such. Because dealerships know that certified used cars have passed a series of strict quality control tests, they often make these use vehicles more visible to potential customers.

Step 3 - Request Used Car Quotes

After reviewing the inventories of authorized dealerships, make a note of any certified used cars you may be interested in. Ask the dealership to provide you a quote for the certified used cars that you are interested in and always ask for a discount when requesting the quote. If the car is listed on a dealer's website, simply jot down the price of the car and any included accessories or options.

Step 4- Get Pricing Information

Once you have  a list of several cars you're interested in, visit websites like the Kelley Blue Book pricing guide. Enter the year, make and model and any accessories and options for all of the certified used cars you have selected and view pricing information for average, high and low selling prices as well as average trade-in values. Use the pricing guide information on the website to see if prices offered by dealers are in line with average selling prices.

Step 5- Compare the Used Car Quotes

Compare the prices listed for the vehicles with the prices you obtained from the Kelley Blue Book website. When comparing vehicles, make sure to compare not only the price, but number of miles and included accessories or options as well. Once you have carefully compared the vehicles and their prices, select the used car quote you believe is most reasonable for the certified used car you want to purchase.
