1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 The engine is the Jeep inline-6 cylinder. Engine is in great running condition, no leaks, no noises. Exterior body in excellent condition, red paint with gray trim. Interior is tan in color and again in excellent condition. Features include: power windows, power locks, power mirrors, AM/FM cd player, 12-disc cd changer, mp3 input, tilt, cruise control, digital information display, fold-down rear seats, alloy wheels, automatic transmission w/ overdrive, 4-wheel drive, and air conditioning. The problem: The front differential is making a roaring sound and is causing a vibration. I'm told this is because water got into the diff and the bearings and seals now need to be replaced. If you know how or know someone that does, this can be fixed for under $200. I don't know how and don't know anyone that does, and don't have the cash to take it to a shop. This vehicle has been well taken care of and looks/runs great. Unfortunately I don't have the mechanical experience to be able to replace the bearings and seals in the front differential.
