This classic, uniquely customized Corvette was a first place winner on the U.S. East Coast show circuit before being retired and stored in a temperature controlled, secure private storage location. The car was taken out of storage and had a complete mechanical restoration (documentation available) and is now being sold. This car has only had 2 owners. 1976 was the last year of the “Stingray” insignia and the classic Corvette nose medallion. The custom paint job was done in the late 80’s includes 11 coats of black lacquer and custom hand painted stripes of silver that fade to black on the hood cowl and exiting the front wheel air vents on each side. Front and rear spoilers, dual mounted racing rear view mirrors, American Racing magnesium turbine wheels with spinner center caps and the new chrome tuned Hooker headers with side pipes coupled with a strong numbers-matching 350 Chevy V8 make this a truly unique and beautiful custom car.
