Performance from the base 3.2-liter inline-six is unremarkable; expect much more spirited acceleration from a turbocharged 3-liter alternative found in the S80 T6.
Major changes included: The second generation S80 is Volvo's first model to feature Adaptive Cruise Control with Collision Warning and Brake Support. It offers more luxury than the previous generation, with standard leather upholstery, wood trim, power-adjustable seats and dual-zone automatic climate control. It is available in 3.2, T6, and V8 trim levels.
