Here’s everything we know about the upcoming all-electric Escalade IQ.The current gas-powered Cadillac Escalade has a bold and boxy exterior design. The all-new 2025 Escalade IQ continues to have a bold design, but heads in a different direction than the gas-powered model. The electric SUV has a similar front-end design to Cadillac’s other electric vehicles like the Celestiq and LYRIQ.The front end has vertically oriented daytime running lights, a shield grille that’s outlined with dramatic lighting, and sharp design elements. Unlike the gas-powered Escalade, the Escalade IQ features a sloped rear roofline, a split taillight design, and an upright liftgate. The design of the Escalade IQ gives the electric SUV a sporty look.Like the gas-powered Escalade, the 2025 Escalade IQ features an opulent, high-tech design. The SUV’s dashboard is dominated by enormous screens that span nearly the full width of the cabin. The Escalade IQ moves to a modern interior design with minimal physical controls, as the SUV’s HVAC system is controlled through an additional screen that sits below the dash. With three rows of seats, the Escalade IQ becomes one of the few three-row electric SUVs on sale. All Escalade IQs will come with captain’s chairs in the second row. In typical Cadillac fashion, the Escalade IQ will come with high-end materials to feel like an upscale option. The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ will get even more high-tech features than the gas-powered Escalade. The electric SUV’s main draw is its curved pillar-to-pillar display that spans nearly the entire width of the dash. Cadillac claims the LED display measures 55 inches. There’s another 11-inch touchscreen that’s positioned just below the dash that handles HVAC controls.Cadillac also offers the Escalade IQ with two 12.6-inch monitors in the rear headrests and an additional touchscreen in the rear center console. The Escalade IQ features a Google-based infotainment system with Google built-in. We don’t have a full list of features yet, but the electric SUV should have multiple USB ports, an available 36-speaker AKG audio system, Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and a wireless charging pad. The Escalade IQ is missing Apple CarPlay, which is something that GM confirmed it would be offering on its EVs earlier this April.2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ Engine & SpecsCadillac hasn’t released all of the Escalade IQ’s specs yet, but we know the SUV will come with a dual-motor setup with all-wheel drive. The powertrain produces up to 750 horsepower and 758 pound-feet of torque in its Velocity Max Mode. This allows the SUV to get to 60 mph in less than five seconds and tow up to 8,000 pounds. The SUV is reported to come with a 200-kWh battery pack with a target range of up to 450 miles. When plugged into a DC fast charger, the Escalade IQ will be able to get 100 miles of range in 10 minutes.2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ SafetyThe 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ will be available with automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, pedestrian detection, park assist, a surround-view camera, intersection automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and blind zone steering assist.
