2008 Hyundai Elantra

The current generation Elantra can seat up to five and has exceptionally large trunk space. It comes in two trim levels: GLS, SE, all of which use a 138-hp, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Buyers have a choice between the standard five-speed manual or optional four-speed automatic transmissions for each trim level. Standard safety features on all Elantra models include four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with electronic brake-force distribution, frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side curtain airbags, and active front head restraints. For 2008, an electronic stability control system comes standard on the SE trim.
