2009 Audi A4

The next-generation A4 Sedan and Avant are slated to receive more powerful engines for 2009. Cabriolet 2.0T trims continue to be outfitted with a 200-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, while 3.2 trims get a 255-hp 3.2-liter V6; both engines feature FSI direct fuel injection. Available transmissions include a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic with Tiptronic and a seven-speed Multitronic CVT. Standard safety features on all A4 trims include electronic stability and traction control systems, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, front side-impact airbags and a tire pressure monitor. For 2009, the Audi A4 Sedan and Avant have been completely redesigned. Cabriolet models remain on the previous generation platform, but get a visual upgrade in the form of a standard S Line exterior package, including revised bumpers, grille and integrated trunklid spoiler. Additionally, new standard equipment on Cabriolet models includes Bluetooth wireless connectivity, satellite radio and upgraded alloy wheels.
