2009 Mazda CX-9

The CX-9 is available in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive in one of three models: Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. Power comes from a 273-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 with a six-speed automatic transmission that has manual gear selection capability. The Grand Touring, rides on 20-inch wheels instead of the standard 18-inch wheels. Folding third-row seats and a sliding second-row creates a surprisingly roomy cargo space. Standard safety equipment includes side curtain airbags for all three rows of seats, anti-lock brakes, stability control with roll control and tire pressure monitoring. For 2009, all trims gain a standard trip computer, Bluetooth is added to the Sport, and the Grand Touring receives a standard garage door opener and auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror.
