Overview

The Rio5 is powered by a 110-hp 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that is attached to either the standard five-speed manual transmission, or a four-speed automatic. Standard features include independent front suspension, semi-independent rear suspension, air conditioning, power steering, satellite radio, USB and auxiliary input jack. Safety features include seat-mounted side-impact airbags, side curtain airbags and front seat belt pretensioners, a tire pressure monitoring system, four-wheel anti-lock brakes, and active front headrests. The Rio5 has a substantially revised appearance for 2010. Full body-color bumpers, a new grille, and headlamps, are the most notable changes.
