The Ford E-250 comes with a standard 225-hp 4.6-liter Triton V8 with an optional 255-hp 5.4-liter Triton V8. Both engines are mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, underbody full-size spare, air conditioning, tilt steering wheel and variable intermittent wipers. The E-250 is available in the regular or in the extended length version with both offering a commercial and a recreational trim. The recreational trim is nicely primed for modifications to suit the buyer's needs. Available equipment on the E-250 includes satellite radio, SYNC, a heavy-duty trailer towing package, an integrated trailer brake controller, navigation system and a selection of Ford Work Solution options. For 2011, AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control is now standard on all vans, the fuel tank capacity has been decreased from 35 gallons to 33 gallons and high definition audio is now included with the combined navigation and audio system.
