If buyers have an extra $1,510 in their pocket, they can purchase the Luxury Package that comes with the SmartAccess key. Also included are heated/ventilated front-row seats, heated second-row seats, and a heated steering wheel. If all that heat is too much, a center-console-mounted cool box - another Luxury Package feature – keeps items stored within at a low temperature.
For those with the means, a Lexus LX570 provides almost everything demanded by large luxury SUV owners. Yet with a price starting over $80,000, there is more value to be found elsewhere. The LX570 does have a cramped third-row unlike the INFINITI QX56 that provides plenty of elbowroom inside the interior cabin. Yet the QX56 won’t keep up with the Lexus when on the trail. For an SUV that is just as good off-road (and a bit better on pavement too), the Land Rover Range Rover has legendary capability plus a longer list of options, but only seats five. If in love with the LX570 but not the price, consider the Toyota Land Cruiser. It offers equal, if not better, off-road capability and similar luxury features at a price around $10,000 less.
While it may not be the best value, shoppers in the large luxury SUV market cannot go wrong with all that comes in the Lexus LX570.
