The E400 Hybrid comes in only a single trim level and features a wide array of standard features, like: a six-disc CD/DVD system, 14-way power seats and LED daytime running lights. On top of its premium features, this sedan also features an elegant look that outshines just about everything in its class with its bold grille; 17-inch, five-spoke wheels and well-sculpted body lines.
All of its luxury and thriftiness doesn’t exempt it from flaws. Specifically, with a base price well north of $50,000, the E400 Hybrid should have a full-leather interior—Mercedes-Benz, however, opted for MB-Tex vinyl when competitors like the BMW 5 Series Hybrid and Lexus GS 450h come standard with leather seating.
