Buick has invested long hours spiffing up the brand’s once-stodgy image. The Regal is a fine example of the fruits of that effort. While the exterior retains its distinctive curves, the Regal has a more sophisticated list of credits to offer for the 2014 model year.
What's New for 2014
Buick has added a standard turbo engine, adaptive cruise control and all-wheel drive to its list of tony options. Radar- and camera-based safety elements have expanded to include lane departure warning, collision mitigation braking, side blind zone and rear cross traffic alert functions. Speech recognition and controls have been improved on the IntelliLink connectivity package. The instrument cluster has a new face, and LED lights add sleekness to the exterior.
Choosing Your Buick Regal
The Regal is available in two models — the Regal and the Regal GS — and it is offered in four trim packages. Owners can choose from all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive, automatic or manual transmissions and two engines: the 2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder or the 2.4-liter four-cylinder, which is offered exclusively on the front-wheel drive Regal eAssist. You can mix and match your options according to priority. There’s something for everybody in its various incarnations
