Choosing Your 2014 Mercedes-Benz ML 350
All ML350s use a 3.5-liter V6 that produces 302 horsepower and earns 18 mpg city and 22 mpg highway. Standard features on the well-equipped base ML350 include: navigation, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, a sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, a power liftgate, a rearview camera, xenon headlights, a 14-speaker harman/kardon sound system, and parking and blind spot assists.
The critical choice for buyers is between:
- Front-Wheel Drive
- Rear-Wheel Drive
Standalone options include massage for front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a trailer hitch, 21-inch wheels, brushed aluminum running boards, a rear seat entertainment system, heated rear seats, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
There are also special order options like a pass-through for the rear seat, rear sunshades, three-zone automatic climate control, night view assist PLUS, and soft close doors.
Buyers may also choose from two option packages:
- Driver Assistance: Distronic plus with pre-safe brake, active blind spot assist and active lane keeping assist.
- AMG Performance: Performance steering wheel with DINAMICA side grips, a power increase and red brake calipers.

We recommend the base ML350—it's loaded with popular features and well-priced for the segment. As usual, we would skip the added weight and expense of all-wheel drive unless it's necessary for winter driving or mild off-road travel.
