Introduced just last year, the RLX is essentially unchanged.
Choosing Your Acura RLX
Although it's officially billed as midsize, the front-drive RLX offers a level of stretch-out comfort usually associated with the largest passenger cars. This is especially evident in back, where adults can idle for hours without getting on each others' nerves. The exterior look is both modern and restrained, about what you would expect in a flagship sedan from Acura. The sole engine is a 3.5-liter V6 capable of producing 310 horsepower, matched to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The RLX is offered in five trim levels, which are essentially a series of progressive option packages:
Since there are no individual options for the RLX, choosing the right trim level is especially important. The RLX with Technology Package furnishes most features luxury car buyers want and is still very reasonably priced for this class. But if you insist on all the latest safety technology, the RLX with Advance Package is the only way to go, and you're assured of getting every possible feature that Acura offers.
