Since its debut in 2012, the current Fusion has succeeded in quickly climbing the ranks within the competitive family sedan market. This shouldn’t come as a surprise since it manages to unify striking design, sporty performance and value, a compelling combination of features for a midsize 4-door sedan.

2015 Ford Fusion Overview

What's New for 2015
Ford has made minor changes to the Fusion this year. All-wheel drive, previously only available on the top-level Titanium, is now available on midrange SE models. New exterior colors are also offered.

Choosing Your Ford Fusion
Once again Ford offers a full range of engines in the 2015 Fusion. From several gas-powered choices to hybrid and plug-in hybrid options, it’s no wonder that the Fusion has been so well received.
Your best bet is to start by selecting from the three levels that Ford has divided the conventional engines into. If you decide to move from that trim to a hybrid or hybrid plug-in upgrades always start with that level’s features as a base.
S
The base model S comes with a 2.5-liter inline-four engine coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission standard. A thumb switch mounted on the gearshift knob gives the driver the option of shifting gears themselves for a more sporty feel. The S also comes with voice-activated SYNC, rear view camera, keyless entry, anti-lock brakes, manual air conditioning and an MP3 compatible four speaker audio system.
SE
Starting with the same standard engine as the S, the SE builds on standard features including 10-way power adjustable drivers seat and 6-way power adjustable passenger seat, a six speaker audio system, SiriusXM satellite radio and keyless entry keypad. The SE also gives you access to a host of optional package upgrades including the Touch Technology Package, the Luxury Driver-Assist Package and the Appearance Package. Though the SE comes with the same 2.5-liter engine standard, buyers have the option to choose between 1.5-liter or 2-liter EcoBoost inline-four engines. All-wheel drive is also available.
Titanium
Amenities at the Titanium level become more luxury-focused like leather interior, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Sony twelve speaker audio system, a reverse sensing system, a remote starter and electronic stability control. Several option packages are available and include additional features such as all-wheel drive, cross-traffic alert, rain-sensing wipers, active park assist and adaptive cruise control.
While each trim level can create a compelling case for itself, we feel that the SE models are the best choice in terms of amenities and value. That being said, the base S delivers upscale styling and good value for its cost.
