As far as luxury crossovers go, the INFINITI QX60 fits the mold well. Offering seating for seven in a spacious cabin with lots of wood and leather, the INFINITI appeals to those who value comfort and space.
What's New For 2015
For 2015, the QX60 gets new exterior and interior colors.
Choosing Your INFINITI QX60
The QX60 comes with only a 3.5-liter V6 with 270 horsepower, with a CVT transmission. Base models come with front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is available. As is typical with INFINITI models, options are traditionally lumped into major packages.
The QX60 comes standard with leather upholstery, seating for seven, keyless entry and start, selectable driving modes, a backup camera, three-zone automatic climate control, a moonroof, Bluetooth hands-free and USB input.
The available Premium Package includes 13-speaker Bose audio and memory settings for the driver's seat, mirrors and steering wheel, while Premium Plus package adds to that navigation with real-time traffic and voice recognition, as well as Bluetooth streaming audio.
The Driver Assistance Package adds adaptive cruise control, blind spot and lane departure warning, while the Technology Package makes those alerts active. Finally, the Deluxe Touring Pack includes a second moonroof, 20-inch alloy wheels, power-folding third-row seats and cooled front seats.
Prices escalate quickly on the QX60, and it's a shame the driver assistance technologies cost a lot extra compared to some rivals that make them standard or offer them for less money. But these features make the QX60 a competitive three-row luxury crossover.
