The connoisseur's choice in the full-size 300 line, the 300C delivers plenty of power and substance along with an indulgent interior loaded with conveniences. The big Chrysler's unabashedly American character only enhances its reputation as modern-day dreamboat.
What's New for 2016
The 300C gets updates to its Uconnect infotainment interface, and all optional safety features have been consolidated into the new SafetyTec Plus Group.
Choosing Your Chrysler 300C
As in previous years, the rear-drive 300C comes standard with a 292-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 and eight-speed automatic transmission. The available 5.7-liter V8 produce 363 horsepower for luxuriously quick acceleration. Either way, you'll get a slick rotary gear selector instead of a traditional shifter. All-wheel drive is available on V6 models only.
Buyers can choose the standard 300C or the even more luxurious Platinum version:
Both models are eligible for the SafetyTec Plus Group, which adds a slew of safety features, including adaptive cruise control, collision warning with automatic braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, rain-sensing wipers, and parking sensors.

The most compelling reason for upgrading to the Platinum ($4,500 extra) is the extended leather trim, which has a gentrifying effect on the interior. If that's not particularly important to you, we recommend sticking with the standard C and putting that money toward options.
