Choosing Your Chrysler 300C

The 300C offers the same engine choices as the regular 300. That means you can go with the standard 292-horsepower 3.6-liter V6, or upgrade to a 5.7-liter V8 producing 363 horsepower. Both engines use an eight-speed automatic transmission with a rotary gear selector. The 300C comes standard with rear-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive is a $2,500 option on V6 models.

You have a choice of the standard 300C or the even more luxurious Platinum version:

Features a leather interior with heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, driver memory, a power-adjustable heated steering wheel with wood trim, and a rear power sunshade. In terms of technology, you get a rearview camera, blind spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, navigation, and the top version Chrysler's UConnect infotainment system (which includes Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, as well as HD and satellite radio). Other standard features include a panoramic sunroof, keyless access and ignition, remote start, and 18-inch polished aluminum wheels (19s are standard with all-wheel drive). The available SafetyTec Plus Group tacks on adaptive cruise control, front collision alert with automatic braking, lane departure warning, and automatic high beams. Beyond that, you can add a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and adaptive bi-xenon headlamps.

Comes standard with the Harman Kardon system and adaptive headlamps, plus heated and cooled front cupholders, distinctive exterior trim, 20-inch wheels, and a Touring suspension for an ultra-smooth ride. The interior features premium leather on the seats, dashboard, door panels, and console. The only available option is the SafetyTec Plus Group.

CarsDirect Tip

The most compelling reason for upgrading to the Platinum ($4,135 extra) is the extended leather interior, which will remind you of cars costing twice as much. If that's not particularly important to you, we recommend sticking with the standard C and putting some of that money toward the SafetyTec Group.
