The GMC Savana 2500 is all about hauling people and stuff from one place to another. It's been a mover and shaker in the commercial van segment for quite some time and is starting to show its age.
The Savana lineup can be outfitted for big loads of cargo or configured to carry up to fifteen passengers. It's also conversion-ready and can easily handle a variety of wheelchair lift options.
What's New for 2017
Aside from minor equipment updates, the Savana is unchanged.
Choosing Your GMC Savana 2500
The Savana 2500 is the three-quarter ton option in the Savana lineup. A one-ton 3500 is also available. The standard length of the Savana is 224.1 inches. The extended-length version measures 244 inches.
The Savana 2500 is available in cargo and passenger models. It's important to remember that both versions are fairly basic vans, and luxury is not on the menu.
The Savana is all about utility, so it's not going to become luxurious no matter how many accessories you add. We do highly recommend the 6-liter engine if you plan on towing a trailer or traveling on highways with a full load.
