2018 Audi allroad: Overview

Alex Bernstein
Managing Editor - May 22, 2017

The Audi allroad will largely be a carryover for the 2018 model year. Based on preliminary order guides, the most notable change will be that heated front seats will now be standard.

Under the hood, the wagon will continue to feature a 2.0-liter TFSI 4-cylinder engine mated to a dual-clutch transmission (DCT). The powerplant makes 252 hp with 273 lb-ft of torque.

For 2018, the allroad will get some minor changes in packaging. For example, the Premium Plus Package will now feature Audi side assist and Audi pre sense (lane change assist, collision mitigation).

Further up in terms of specs, the Prestige will now get active lane-keeping standard in addition to auto high beams, adaptive cruise control and traffic sign recognition.

Pricing & Release Date

The 2018 Audi allroad is expected to arrive late this summer. We anticipate dealers will begin taking orders very soon.

In terms of deals, finance and lease incentives tend to be rare on the allroad. Based on our analysis, the likelihood of seeing deep discounts on the outgoing 2017 model are highly unlikely.

Official 2018 pricing will start at $45,475 with destination, equating to a $4,000 premium over a 2018 A4 Sedan equipped with quattro all-wheel drive.

Key competitors include the BMW 3-Series Sports Wagon and both the Volvo V60 and XC70.
