2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid OVERVIEW

Hybrid models not sporting a Toyota badge are few in number. In the crossover segment, the Nissan Rogue Hybrid seems rare indeed. Offered only in major markets, the 2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid is one of the most efficient models in its class.

What's New for 2019

Now in its third year, the Rogue Hybrid offers several updates for 2019. Rear automatic emergency braking and a rear sonar system are now standard. An available technology package with lane departure warning, lane intervention, and automatic emergency braking is now available on all trims. Rear door alert reminds drivers of people, pets, or items left on the rear seat.

Choosing Your Nissan Rogue Hybrid

The 2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which generates 141 horsepower and 144 pound-feet of torque. A 30-kilowatt electric motor adds 40 horsepower for a net 176 hp. Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is available for $1,350. All models come with a dual-clutch automatic transmission. This model makes an EPA-estimated 33 miles per gallon city, 35 mpg highway, and 34 combined with FWD or 31/34/33 mpg (city/highway/combined) with AWD.

Standard features include halogen headlights, LED lights, aluminum-alloy wheels, full power accessories, a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, a six-speaker audio system, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone compatibility.

The Nissan Rogue Hybrid is available in two trims:

SV

Priced from $28,645 (all prices include the $1,045 destination charge), the SV Hybrid starts things off. Nissan equips the SV Hybrid with halogen headlights, LED accent lights and taillights, roof rails, power-controlled and heated side mirrors, and a rear spoiler. This model has cloth seats, dual-zone climate control, a six-speaker audio system with a CD player, Bluetooth, satellite radio, two USB ports, and an auxiliary audio input jack. Standard driver-assist features include blind-spot monitoring, intelligent lane intervention, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and rear cross-traffic alert.

The SV Hybrid Premium Package ($2,980) adds a power panoramic moonroof, navigation, satellite radio, a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, a memory driver's seat, memory for the outside mirrors, and a nine-speaker Bose audio system.

SL

Starting at $32,585, the SL Hybrid adds LED headlights, leather-trimmed seats, a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, and navigation. This model also has an eight-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support, a heated steering wheel, and heated front seats.

The SL Hybrid Premium Package ($2,000) adds a power panoramic moonroof, a nine-speaker Bose audio system, 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and all-season tires.

CarsDirect Tip

The base 2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid comes well equipped and should deliver the amenities most customers want. We recommend all-wheel drive for everyone living where winter driving conditions are common. Keep in mind that the Rogue Hybrid isn't available in all markets, so you may need to work with your Nissan dealer to acquire one.
