What's New
The 2020 Lincoln Navigator adds more standard equipment for the new model year, including Lincoln Phone as Key system, power running boards, wireless phone charging, and heated and cooled front seats. Also included everywhere is Lincoln’s CoPilot360 suite of driver assist safety features. Finally, the Navigator loses its Select trim.
Choosing Your Lincoln Navigator
Lincoln offers the Navigator in three trims: Standard, Reserve, and Black Label. Pricing starts at $77,120 including destination for the Standard and rises all the way up to $98,065 for the Black Label.
The Reserve and Black Label are also available in long wheelbase "Navigator L" variants that cost $3,200 more.
Engine Choices
Lincoln equips every Navigator with a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. This one has an output of 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque and works with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Rear-wheel drive is standard on the Standard and Reserve, while four-wheel drive is available for $2,670. The Black Label comes standard with 4WD.
The Lincoln Navigator earns an EPA-estimated 16 miles per gallon city, 22 mpg highway, and 19 combined. Both the 4WD and L versions earn 16/21/18 mpg (city/highway/combined).
Passenger and Cargo Capacity
In its standard layout, the Navigator seats seven. Customers have the no-cost option of replacing the middle-row captain’s chairs with a bench seat, thereby increasing passenger capacity to eight. Its standard layout is the most comfortable for the second- and third-row passengers, as it offers ample space and ease of access and egress.
Cargo volume is tremendous regardless of the chosen wheelbase. The standard layout has 20.9 cubic feet of storage space. That expands to 57.5 cubic feet behind the second row, or 103.4 behind the first. In the Navigator L, the storage space measures 36.0/79.6/120.3 cubic feet behind the third/second/first rows.
Safety Features
The Lincoln Navigator comes with standard park assist and front and rear parking sensors. Now standard across the lineup is Lincoln Co-Pilot360, a suite of technologies that includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, blind-spot detection with cross-traffic alert, a lane-keeping system, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane keeping assist, and automatic high beams.
Both the Reserve and Black Label add a surround-view camera system. Adaptive cruise control ($695) is a standalone option on the Standard, and standard elsewhere. A head-up display is standard on the Black Label and optional on the Reserve for $1,500 in a bundle that also includes upgraded 24-way power front seats.
Connectivity
Every Navigator comes with a 10-inch touchscreen with navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, HD radio, and satellite radio. A wireless charging pad, four USB ports, and wi-fi hot spot capability are also included.
A rear-seat entertainment system is available for $2,000 on Reserve and Black Label models.
Choose the Standard model and the Navigator already comes well equipped. It includes full LED lighting front and back, adaptive headlights, power-deployable running boards, 20-inch designer aluminum-alloy wheels, an adaptive suspension system, and a power liftgate.
Inside, the cabin is dressed in leather with wood trim. A heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, three-zone automatic climate control, heated and cooled 10-way power front seats, remote keyless entry, and remote start are standard. This model also has a power-folding third-row seat.
The Navigator’s middle trim comes with heated and power-folding second-row captain’s chairs and a panoramic roof. Additional upgrades include illuminated running boards, 24-way power front seats with memory, and 22-inch wheels.
A Heavy Duty Trailer Tow Package is available for $1,900, while 30-way power front seats and a 20-speaker Revel audio system are bundled in the $2,500 Luxury Package.
The Black Label comes standard with unique 22-inch wheels, the equipment from the Luxury and Heavy Duty Trailer Tow Packages, and concierge services that include annual vehicle detailing, extended maintenance, pickup and delivery, and complimentary car washes.
The Navigator’s top trim also brings in customized interiors with three design themes for the choosing: Yacht Club, Destination, and Chalet. Special leather materials and colors, a wrapped headliner, and unique wood accents supply definition and distinction.
Compare Navigator Trims Side-By-Side
Every 2020 Lincoln Navigator comes well equipped. Therefore, starting your search with the Standard model is a sensible approach. Even large families should have more than enough space in a vehicle this large, so opting for the Navigator L shouldn't be necessary for most buyers.
