    What's New

The 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia adopts a simplified model structure without the previous sub-trims. The Ti model gets navigation and a dual-pane sunroof as standard, while the Ti Sport gains a limited-slip differential. The Giulia debuted in 2017 as an all-new model.

    Choosing Your Alfa Romeo Giulia

The 2021 Giulia now comes in four trim levels: Sprint, Ti, Ti Sport, and Quadrifoglio. Pricing starts at $40,745 including destination and climbs to $76,345 for the Quadrifoglio.

    Engine Choices

The Sprint and Ti trims carry a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The Quadrifoglio packs a ferocious twin-turbo V6.

    Engine TypeHorsepowerTorqueFuel Economy (Combined)
    2.0L Turbo 4-Cylinder280 hp306 lb-ft27 mpg
    2.9L Twin-Turbo V6505 hp443 lb-ft20 mpg

Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is available on the Sprint and Ti trims for $2,000.

    Passenger and Cargo Capacity

The Giulia is a midsize sedan capable of seating five in comfort. The trunk is on the small side at 13 cubic feet, but at least it's easy to load.

    Safety Features

Standard driver assistance technology is limited to rear parking sensors and front collision mitigation with automatic emergency braking. Everything else is bundled into option packages that vary by trim level.

The Sprint is eligible for a Driver Assist 1 Package ($595) with blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, lane departure warning, and front parking sensors. The package also furnishes auto-dimming side mirrors and an infrared-filtering windshield that enhances air conditioning efficiency.

These features are available on the other trims in the Active Assist 2 Package, along with active lane-keeping assist and a semi-autonomous highway driving system. Active Assist 2 costs $1,695 on the Ti trims and $2,200 on the Quadrifoglio.

    Connectivity

The Sprint carries an 8.8-inch infotainment touchscreen, eight speakers, satellite radio, two USB ports, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Compatibility.

The Sun and Sound Package ($1,595) adds a ten-speaker sound system and a dual-pane sunroof, both of which are standard on the other trims. A wireless charging pad is available separately for $250.

The $2,300 Premium Package for the Ti trims includes a 14-speaker Harman Kardon system and the charging pad. The Quadrifoglio gets the Harman Kardon system as standard, and the charging pad is part of its $995 Premium Package.

    Sprint — From $40,745

The Sprint delivers plenty of features for the price, including leather upholstery, six-way power front seats with driver memory, remote start, Brembo brakes, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Cold Weather Package ($800) tacks on heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated washer nozzles.

There's also a Performance Package ($995) with aluminum paddle shifters and a limited-slip differential. The $1,700 Nero Edizione Package provides black body trim and badging.

    Ti — From $44,195

The Ti comes standard with the heated front seats and steering wheel, plus wood interior trim, bright door sill trims, and 18-inch wheels. In addition to its connectivity upgrades, the Premium Package provides heated rear seats, an anti-theft system, and a trunk cargo net.

The Lusso Package ($2,200) endows the Ti with upgraded wood and extended leather interior trim, bright aluminum pedals, eight-way power front seats, a cabin air purification system, and unique 18-inch wheels.

      Ti Sport — From $47,395

The Performance Package is standard on the Ti Sport, along with 14-way front sport seats, aluminum interior trim, and 19-inch wheels. The front and rear facias feature a more aggressive look.

The available Carbon Package ($3,500) adds carbon fiber side mirrors, sill plates, and rocker panel moldings. The inside gets carbon fiber trim as well, plus extended leather trim.

      Quadrifoglio — From $76,345

To complement its enormous boost in power, the Quadrifoglio gets an adaptive sport suspension, performance brakes, a torque-vectoring differential, and carbon fiber body components. A carbon fiber roof is available for $2,000.

        CarsDirect Tip

The 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint and Ti models behave very much the same. The Ti provides an extra measure of luxury for those who want it, while the Ti Sport enhances the Giulia's sporting character. The Quadrifoglio is a totally different animal that's capable of almost shocking performance for a midsize sedan and is priced accordingly.
