The Audi A7 is set to receive upgrades for the 2023 model year as the automaker has announced that much of the lineup would be getting more standard and available features. As a design icon of the brand, the A7 gets several enhancements from the 2022 model that will carry over to the 2023 model as standard features.
For instance, the S line and Black optic package have been combined and are now available for all trims. For the S7, the new Audi Sport stitching package is available. This package features a black interior with Express red stitching on the sides of the center console, seats, shifter, center armrests, and door armrests as well as red edges on the black seatbelts for contrast. Also in the S7, the Premium Plus trim now has heated rear seats, the LED interior lighting plus package, and the leather package that includes a leather dashboard, armrests, and console.
There are three powertrain options Audi has given the 2023 A7 lineup. The A7 Sportback has a 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder engine with an S tronic transmission, the RS 7 Sportback has a 4.0-liter, 8-cylinder engine with a Tiptronic transmission, and the S7 has a 2.9-liter, 6-cylinder engine with a Tiptronic transmission that is estimated to produce 444 horsepower.
Some safety features will depend on the trim or package consumers choose. The 2023 RS 7 with the Executive package now has remote park assist plus, while the Premium trim with the Convenience package models adds adaptive cruise assist with lane guidance. Likewise, the Premium Plus trim receives a full suite of driver assistance features. For all Prestige models, remote park assist plus is added.
