Volkswagen has decided to give itself a refresh by giving every vehicle a touch-up in the last two years, and the Arteon is no exception. The 2023 Arteon is getting a few upgrades based on trim level, but for the most part will remain relatively unchanged.
The 2023 Arteon comes in three trims: the SE R-line, SEL R-Line, and SEL Premium R-Line. New standard features are going to be changed for both the entry-level and higher-level trims. These features include new 20-inch wheels, Black Carbon trim, performance LED headlights, front foglights, and an illuminated bar on the grille. On the inside, VW’s Digitial Cockpit is now standard throughout the lineup as well as a faster USB-C charger. Also available are a heated steering wheel and 30-color ambient lighting.
Under the hood, the 2022 Arteon got an upgraded 300 horsepower engine that is paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission. We have no reason to believe that this will change for the 2023 model. For safety, VW is giving every 2023 Arteon model IQ.DRIVE drivers assistance technology. Being available on every model makes it one of the most accessible semi-automated driving systems on the market. The Arteon will also come available with adaptive front lighting system with cornering lights, an easy open and close power hatch, and dynamic road sign display.
