While Chevrolet is busy with the fully redesigned Trax, the automaker is also showing the subcompact TrailBlazer some love for 2024. The subcompact SUV will arrive for the new model year with a revised exterior design and updated tech features.

Chevrolet has updated the 2024 TrailBlazer’s exterior design for the new model year. The subcompact SUV features an updated front fascia, exterior lighting, and updated grille designs for different trims. The TrailBlazer adopts even slimmer daytime running lights, while the design of the grille has changed depending on the trim. The SUV is available with new wheel designs throughout the entire lineup. At the back, the only changes are the updated taillights.

The interior of the 2024 TrailBlazer mostly stays the same as the current SUV that’s on sale, but the dashboard has been updated. The dash features a new design thanks to a standard 11-inch touchscreen. To accommodate the larger screen, Chevrolet’s designers have had to update the TrailBlazer’s dashboard. The central screen is slightly angled toward the driver and is integrated into the instrument cluster. The air vents have been moved to sit underneath the screen and the physical controls for the HVAC system are now located at the bottom of the center console.

Instead of the current 7-inch touchscreen, the 2024 Chevrolet TrailBlazer comes with a standard 11-inch touchscreen. The subcompact SUV also comes with a standard eight-inch digital instrument cluster. In addition to coming with larger screens, the TrailBlazer also comes with standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A Wi-Fi hotspot and a wireless charging pad will also be available.

The 2024 TrailBlazer will continue to be available with the same engines as the current SUV that’s on sale. A turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine that makes 137 horsepower is standard. A turbo 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine that’s rated at 155 hp is available. The base engine comes with a continuously variable automatic transmission, while the upgraded engine comes with a nine-speed automatic.

Chevrolet will not be making any changes to the TrailBlazer’s list of safety features for 2024. The subcompact SUV will continue to come with forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam assist, lane departure warning, and lane-keeping assist as standard.
