2024 Dodge Durango Price, Specs, Release Date

2024 Dodge Durango

Model Preview

The 2024 Dodge Durango is arriving for the new model year without any major changes. The muscular midsize SUV’s Citadel trim gains Dodge’s Tow N Go package that raises the trim’s maximum towing capacity to 8,700 pounds. The package also brings a design that’s inspired by the sporty SRT trim and extra performance components.

The exterior design of the 2024 Dodge Durango won’t differ much from the current model that’s on sale. The Durango has one of the more aggressive designs in the midsize segment with square headlights, an upside-down U-shaped grille, and a wide front air intake. The back of the SUV features large exhaust outlets, oval taillights that are connected by two horizontal bars, a prominent rear spoiler, and a large rear bumper.

As a carryover model, the 2024 Dodge Durango’s interior design won’t change for the new model year. The Durango features a straightforward, yet upscale design with premium materials, simple physical controls, and a two-tiered dashboard. The Durango’s thick steering wheel, shift paddles, angled gear shifter, and heavily bolstered front seats give it a sportier look than most SUVs in the segment. The Durango offers seating for up to seven people across three rows of seats and a total of up to 85.1 cubic feet of cargo space.

On the tech front, the 2024 Dodge Durango will come with the same features as the current model that’s on sale. The Durango comes standard with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, a seven-inch digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, six audio speakers, Bluetooth, four USB ports, and satellite radio. Available features will include a 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, Amazon Alexa, navigation, a wireless charging pad, and a 19-speaker audio system.

Dodge will continue to offer the 2024 Dodge Durango with a variety of different engines. Powertrains will include a 3.6-liter V6, a 5.7-liter V8, a 6.4-liter V8, and a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine. Power output ranges from 293 horsepower to 710 hp. The Durango will continue to come with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is available.

When it comes to safety features, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a rearview camera will continue to be standard for the 2024 Dodge Durango. Available tech features will include parking sensors, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and automatic high-beam assist.

Pricing & Release Date

Dodge hasn’t officially announced when the 2024 Durango will go on sale. We expect the SUV to arrive before the end of the year.

Without any major changes, pricing for the Durango should remain close to the current model’s range of $42,015 to $58,115.

Other midsize SUVs in the segment include the Mazda CX-90, Toyota Grand Highlander, Kia Telluride, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Hyundai Palisade, Honda Pilot, and Volkswagen Atlas.
