2024 GMC Terrain Preview Preview, Pricing, Release Date

Model Preview
The 2024 GMC Terrain is set to arrive soon. We expect the Terrain to be a carryover model, and for a redesign to come for the 2025 model year.
On the outside, the Terrain should maintain the same rugged look as the current model on sale. The small GMC SUV seats five and will be available in four trims, SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali.
The Terrain is the smallest vehicle in the GMC lineup, and its chunky exterior makes it look more rugged than it may actually be, even the AT4 model, with its skidplates and AWD, aren't currently ready for off-roading, and we don't expect the 2024 model to be any different. With a large grille and oversized badging, the Terrain is one you'll see coming in your rearview.
We'll email you as soon as the 2024 GMC Terrain becomes available.
On the inside, the current Terrain sports a simple and basic look, which we would love to see refreshed. The base SLE model comes with a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, and is WiFi hotspot capable. Higher trims will sport a larger 8-inch touchscreen.
Under the hood, the Terrain is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine which produces 175 horsepower. It's mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Base SLE and SLT models come with front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is available. AT4 and Denali trims come with AWD as standard.
According to order guide data, on the safety front, the 2024 Terrain will come standard with GMC Pro Safety which includes automatic emergency braking, a forward collision alert, lane-keeping assist with a lane departure warning, a following distance indicator, front pedestrian braking, and automatic high beams.
Stay tuned for a full review closer to launch.
