Days after teasing the launch of the all-new Lexus TX, Lexus has shown off the first few images of the upcoming GX. The only thing that Lexus has said about the 2024 GX is that it’s coming soon. “Don’t call it a comeback. The all-new 2024 Lexus GX, coming soon,” reads Lexus’ teaser. Based on the few teaser photos that Lexus put out, we don’t know what the 2024 Lexus GX will look like.

The few images that Lexus shared are a single close-up of the GX’s headlight and rear Lexus badge. The 2024 GX looks like it will gain a new headlight design with sharp edges. They look like they’re going to be similar to the headlights found on the LX and have an updated version of Lexus’ checkmark LED daytime running lights.

The hood looks like it has a deep ridge in the middle, while the front end appears to have a more chiseled design than the current model on sale. The back end of the GX will gain a horizontal taillight bar that we expect will connect the SUV’s taillights.

Lexus hasn’t released any photos of the 2024 GX’s interior yet. We expect the SUV to arrive with a more modern design than the current SUV on sale.

We don’t know what Lexus has in store for the GX when it comes to tech. We expect the redesigned SUV to have the automaker’s latest infotainment system.

What kind of powertrains Lexus will offer with the 2024 GX remains a mystery. We suspect the GX will ditch the V8 engine for a turbocharged V6. Lexus could even offer the SUV with a hybrid powertrain, potentially the same one recently unveiled in the redesigned 2024 Toyota Tacoma truck.

Lexus hasn’t confirmed when the GX will arrive or go on sale. As a 2024 model, we could see the SUV arrive as early as the end of this year or at the beginning of next year.
