2024 Lucid Air Preview Preview, Pricing, Release Date

Model Preview
After arriving on the scene as an all-new electric sedan in 2022, the upcoming 2024 Lucid Air is expected to be a carryover model. We don’t expect to see any large changes with the Air for the new model year.
As a carryover vehicle, the 2024 Lucid Air should retain the same exterior design as the car that’s currently on sale. The current Air features a modern, upscale design that helps it flow through the air. The simple front end features razor-thin headlights, smooth corners, and deep cutouts that help channel air across the sedan’s body. At the back, the Air features rounded edges, taillights that are connected to look like a single piece, and prominent lines on the bumper.
The interior of the current Lucid Air boasts an upscale look that’s brimming with tech. The dashboard is dominated by a total of 34 inches of displays that are positioned throughout the cabin. The majority of the screens are located in front of the driver, while another large central touchscreen that can swivel and is power-retractable is located in the center of the dash.
We'll email you as soon as the 2024 Lucid Air becomes available.
Because of the Air’s interior design, the sedan offers an enormous amount of space for passengers, while the sedan features high-end materials. The lack of physical controls, two-pronged steering wheel, and streamlined dash help the Air fit in with other upscale EVs. Lucid isn’t expected to make any changes to the Air’s interior design for 2024.
Lucid packs the Air with some cutting-edge features. The current Air’s list of standard features should remain the same for the 2024 model year. The current Air comes with a 34-inch display, a power-retractable touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot, four USB ports, a wireless charging pad, navigation, and 10 audio speakers.
The Lucid Air stands out in the EV segment as having the most range of any electric car on market. Additionally, the Air boasts some incredible performance figures. The base Air comes with a single electric motor on the rear wheels that makes 480 hp and an 88-kWh battery pack. Higher trims come with dual electric motors and a larger 112-kWh battery pack.
Output for dual-motor models tops out at 1,050 hp. The range-topping Sapphire trim comes with three electric motors for 1,200 hp. The range for the Lucid Air ranges from 410 miles up to 516 miles. Powertrains are expected to go unchanged for 2024.
Lucid isn’t expected to make any changes to the Air’s list of standard safety features for 2024. The electric sedan currently comes with forward and reverse collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, traffic sign recognition, parking sensors, and park assist. Available safety features include Highway Assist, a surround-view parking camera, and an advanced Level 3 semi-autonomous system.
