2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Changes
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC (crossover) Coupe adopts the looks and technology that debuted last year with the GLC SUV. The GLC 300 will be joined later in the year by the AMG GLC 43 and AMG GLC 63 E Performance models. Otherwise, the model sees minimal changes.
Choosing Your 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class
The 2024 GLC is currently offered in one trim, the GLC 300, however, the high-performance variants - the AMG GLC 43 and AMG GLC 63 aren’t far behind. The base GLC 300 SUV price starts at $48,600 and the GLC 300 Coupe starts at $58,150.
2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Engine Options
The GLC retains a corporate-familiar 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and is supplemented by an enhanced mild-hybrid system that aids in acceleration responsiveness, engine-off capability, and engine-off coasting. A nine-speed automatic routes power to the rear wheels or through an on-demand all-wheel drive system called 4matic for $2,000. The Coupe is standard with all-wheel drive.
While the AMG models are expected to go on sale later in 2024, many details have already been released. The AMG GLC 43 is fitted with a hand-built 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and, it too supplemented with a mild-hybrid system. A wet-clutch nine-speed unit takes over shifting duties and an enhanced all-wheel-drive system is fitted as standard.
The AMG GLC 63 E Performance features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with an electric turbocharger (with F1-tech roots) and additional electrification drive hardware such as a rear-axle motor with integrated two-speed transmission and a 400-volt, 6.1-kWh battery pack.

2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Fuel Economy
The GLC 300 with rear-wheel drive returns an EPA-estimated 26 miles per gallon city, 33 MPG highway, and 29 combined. Adding all-wheel drive lowers those ratings to 24, 32, and 27, respectively. The GLC 300 4matic Coupe returns two less highway MPG points and one overall point.

2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Dimensions & Cargo Capacity
The GLC extends to 185.7 inches in length and measures 74.4 inches across. The five-seat crossover offers 37.4 inches of rear legroom and 21.9 cubic feet of storage space. With the rear seats folded, cargo capacity increases to 56.3 cubic feet. The GLC Coupe’s sloping roofline lowers the cargo volume to 18 and 52.6 cubic feet, respectively.
2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Safety
The 2024 GLC is equipped with an enhanced automatic emergency braking system, blind-spot detection, high-beam assist, parking assist, and driver drowsiness monitor. The $1,950 Driver Assistance Package adds full-speed adaptive cruise control with lane centering and lane change assist and active seat bolsters to improve pre-collision positioning.

A centrally-located 11.9-inch portrait-layout touchscreen incorporates most vehicle systems. Infotainment-wise, the 2024 GLC 300 newly includes SiriusXM as standard equipment, joining wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, HD Radio, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
A wireless charging pad and three USB-C charge ports handle the charging duties and a fingerprint scanner provides fast user-profile identification. The Exclusive Trim package includes a premium Bermester 3D Surround sound system and navigation and the Pinnacle Trim package brings in a head-up display and augmented video for navigation.

2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 - MSRP From $48,600
Build & Price >The GLC 300 is equipped with 18-inch wheels, LED headlights and tail lights, adaptive dampers, a power tailgate, and rain-sensing wipers. The interior is fitted with 16-way power front seats with memory positioning and heating, a 12.3-inch rectangular digital gauge cluster with various layouts including an off-road display, a leather-wrapped power tilt-and-telescope steering wheel with paddle shifters, ambient lighting, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and dual-zone climate control.
The Exclusive Trim ($2,675) features a surround-view system with security monitoring and the aforementioned upgraded tech. The Pinnacle Trim can be added for another $2,250 and notably installs advanced adaptive headlights, a head-up display, and acoustically insulated glass.
The Winter Package, with its heated windshield washer system and heated steering wheel, is offered for $450 and heated rear seats are $500. For a dash of exterior and interior styling, the AMG Line offers unique front and rear fascia, staggered 19-inch black wheels, body-color fender trim, specific grille trim, perforated brakes with painted calipers, sport seats, brushed metal pedals, a sport steering wheel with a flat bottom, and a synthetic-leather dash covering with contrast stitching for $3,450. Gloss black exterior trim (roof rails, mirrors, window surrounds, and front and rear bumper inserts) can be additionally selected for $200. Notable remaining stand-alone options include a panoramic roof for $1,500 and enhanced ambient interior lighting for $650.
The GLC 300 Coupe has been redesigned for 2024 and closely aligns with the GLC 300 SUV albeit with more standard equipment. Its starting price of $58,150 includes the Exclusive Trim along with a panoramic roof. The Pinnacle Trim, the Driving Assistance Package, and the AMG styling updates remain optional.

Build & Price >The AMG GLC 43 is notable for its sporting upgrades. Looking beyond the powertrain, the AMG team has modified the chassis stability controls, the suspension design and tuning, the brakes, and the engine sound. Staggered 20-inch wheels, rear-wheel steering, the items from the AMG Line package, unique exterior bumpers (with quad round exhaust outlets), and the features of the Exclusive Trim are also among the notable standard equipment.
The Pinnacle Trim is offered for $4,250, AMG sport seats are offered for $2,500, and the AMG Night Package Plus adds a darkened grille and badging for $550. The all-wheel-drive system’s front-to-rear power distribution is fully variable for ideal handling balance and traction, the electro-mechanical roll-bars can loosen for a more comfortable ride or become more rigid for improved dynamic handling, and a high-performance brake system is more powerful yet and extends the components’ life-span. We expect the standard and available list of creature comforts to align with the AMG GLC 43 when those details are made official.
The GLC 300 with the Exclusive Trim package creates an impressively equipped luxury crossover without feeling overpriced for the segment.
