What to Expect
As an all-new model that arrived for the 2023 model year, the Nissan Ariya isn’t expected to receive any large changes for 2024. Nissan continues to struggle with production of the all-electric SUV, but the Japanese automaker is on track to increase the output of the EV for the upcoming model year.
As a carryover model, the 2024 Nissan Ariya should continue to have the same exterior design as the current SUV that’s on sale. The Ariya has a stylish exterior design with the automaker’s V-shaped grille, slim headlights, high arches on the hood, and a slim air intake at the bottom of the front fascia. The electric SUV has a sloping roofline that leads directly into a spoiler. The rear end of the current Ariya features slim lights that are connected, a squared-off liftgate, and a chunky rear bumper.
The interior design of the current Ariya has a premium design, which we expect to go unchanged for 2024. The all-electric SUV features a minimal design with touch-capacitive controls that are integrated directly into the dashboard. The dashboard has a simple design that follows a natural curve, while the two large screens that are integrated into a single trim piece dominate the dash. Without a transmission tunnel, the placement of the center console, which houses the unique gear shifter, and flat flooring make Ariya’s cabin feel spacious.
Every Ariya comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Other standard features include navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, six audio speakers, a Wi-Fi hotspot, four USB ports, and Bluetooth. The 2024 Nissan Ariya should come with the same tech features as standard. Available features should include a wireless charging pad and 10 audio speakers.
2024 Nissan Ariya Engine & Specs
Nissan offers the Ariya with multiple trims and powertrains. We don’t expect to see any changes for 2024. The base Ariya comes with a single electric motor on the front wheels and a 63-kWh battery pack for up to 214 horsepower and 216 miles of range.
The same electric motor is available with an 87-kWh battery pack with 238 hp and 304 miles. Base E-4orce models come with two electric motors and a 66-kWh for 335 hp and 205 miles. Pairing the dual-motor configuration with an 87-kWh battery pack nets 389 hp and 270 miles of range.
2024 Nissan Ariya Safety
The all-electric Ariya comes with a host of standard safety features. Forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a driver attention monitor, traffic sign recognition, and automatic high-beam assist are standard. Available safety features include a surround-view parking camera, a head-up display, Nissan’s ProPilot Assist 2.0 system, and park assist.
