With the Subaru Solterra being introduced as an all-new vehicle for 2023, we expect the all-electric SUV to be a carryover model for 2024.

As a carryover model, we expect the 2024 Subaru Solterra to share the same design as the current SUV that’s on sale. The electric SUV has a unique look with a grille-less front end, rugged body cladding that follows the curvature of the fenders, and triangular headlights. The rear end of the SUV has elongated taillights, a spoiler on the roof, and a rugged rear bumper.

Subaru isn’t expected to make any changes to the Solterra’s interior for the 2024 model year. The SUV has a unique design with an infotainment system that's mounted high up on the dashboard and close to the bottom of the windshield. The center console has a slightly asymmetrical design with the air vents slightly jutting off to the passenger side of the cabin. The Solterra features a mix of touch-capacitive buttons below the infotainment system and a few analog controls lower down on the center console.

On the tech front, the current Solterra comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, satellite radio, four USB-C ports, navigation, and Bluetooth. Available features include a wireless charging pad, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 12-speaker audio system, and a Wi-Fi hot spot. These features should remain the same for the 2024 Subaru Solterra.

The current Solterra is only available with a single powertrain that includes two electric motors and a 72.8-kWh battery pack. Combined output is rated at 215 horsepower and the Solterra comes with standard all-wheel drive. Range for the Solterra ranges from 222 miles to 228 miles depending on trim. This powertrain is expected to go unchanged for the 2024 model year.

The 2024 Solterra should come with similar safety features as the current SUV that’s on sale. Standard features include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit assist, and pedestrian detection. Available features include a surround-view parking camera and park assist.
