What To Expect

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade will likely continue as the luxury brand's flagship SUV with minimal change. The current Escalade arrived in 2021 and could receive a redesign or major update within the next two years. Cadillac will introduce an all-new electric SUV called the Escalade IQ in 2025.

The Escalade will retain its full-size proportions and opulent three-row interior. The extended-length Escalade ESV provides extra rear legroom and up to 142.8 cubic feet of cargo space. All models feature a 38-inch curved dash display that houses full instrumentation and a 16.9-inch touchscreen. The standard infotainment system includes wireless charging, navigation, and a 19-speaker AKG sound system. The deep model lineup gives buyers a choice of numerous luxury and performance upgrades

2025 Cadillac Escalade Engine & Specs

We expect the Escalade's current powertrain choices to carry over. Most models run with a 6.2-liter V8 engine that pumps out 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The Escalade is rated to tow up to 8,200 pounds with the V8.

Efficiency-minded buyers can opt for a 3.0-liter turbodiesel six-cylinder with 277 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. The turbodiesel is EPA-rated at 22 mpg combined with four-wheel drive, versus 16 mpg for V8 models. Towing capacity eases to 7,900 pounds.

The line-topping Escalade V-Series carries a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that lays down 682 hp and 653 lb-ft of torque. The V-Series comes standard with 4WD and can tow up to 7,000 pounds. All engines use a 10-speed automatic transmission.

2025 Cadillac Escalade Safety

The Escalade currently carries a full load of standard driver-assistance features, including lane-keeping assist, surround-view cameras, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and a vibrating safety alert in the driver seat. Most trims also come with adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, reverse automatic braking, and GM's Super Cruise hands-free driving system. Night vision is available in the upper trims.

The Escalade receives a four-star overall safety rating from NHTSA.

2025 Cadillac Escalade Price

We expect pricing to stay close to current levels, reflecting only the usual inflationary increase. The 2024 Escalade starts at $83,890 including destination and tops out at $157,290 for the V-Series ESV.

The 2025 Escalade will compete with other full-size luxury SUVs like the Lincoln Navigator, Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, and Lexus LX.

2025 Cadillac Escalade Release Date

We estimate the 2025 Cadillac Escalade will arrive at dealers in October 2024. We'll report back with further details on the upcoming Escalade as they become available.
