What To Expect

With the current generation of the Hyundai IONIQ 6 coming out in 2023, we expect the upcoming 2025 IONIQ 6 to be a carryover model without any changes. Hyundai could give the IONIQ 6 a refresh, since the IONIQ 5 is receiving one for 2025, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Here’s what we know about the 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 6.

As a carryover model, the 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 6 should have the same exterior design as the current sedan that’s on sale. The current IONIQ 6 has a streamlined design with triangular headlights, a smooth front fascia, and deep groups in the front trunk. The side profile of the IONIQ 5 reveals a heavily sloping roofline, dual rear spoilers, and prominent body lines that help channel air. At the back, the IONIQ 6 has a slim horizontal taillight and a chunky rear bumper.

The interior design of the Hyundai IONIQ 6 isn’t expected to change for the 2025 model year. The current IONIQ 6 has a high-end design with a simple dashboard, horizontal air vents that span the full width of the dash, an elegant two-pronged steering wheel, and dual screens that are integrated into a single panel. Despite the IONIQ 6’s roofline, the cabin feels spacious thanks to a flat floor.
